Speaker of the House, John Boehner, is trying his hardest to get the “Year’s Biggest Idiot” award. In a speech to the National Association of Religious Broadcasters essentially stating that by passing Net Neutrality they’d also be expanding and reinstating the Fairness Doctrine that had been repealed at the close of the 80’s.
What’s the matter John, don’t want the internet to stay neutral as it has been? Why is that? Let’s take a look at your campaign contributions, you know John, you can tell a lot about a politician by the types of friends they keep. Hmm, ah here we go. Top contributor, AT&T, that couldn’t possibly have anything to do with it. Did you even read the bill for Net Neutrality? Guess not, all its trying to do is guarantee that the ISPs providing backbone services cannot play favorites with the various types of content.
Tell you what John, stop trying to serve your contributors and remember whom you are truly serving, us. Pull your head out of your ass so you can hear the nonsense that you’re saying.
